The telephone was invented in Brantford, ON. A place once very prosperous in a brawny sort of way. The downtown is full of really cool old buildings but has seen better days. Locals have abandoned the centre and are intent on turning their town into another suburbanized minivan hell. Good strategy now that Peak Oil is biting down. No wonder this beauty doesn't look happy, she's lonely. Nostalgia is a form of depression they say but the future doesn't look so cheerful either.
