(21) Empathy Post


This image, found just north of the Primary Compound Motor Pool, is from the side of a storage unit at a community agriculture project. I'm hoping it will have a soothing effect as there has been some real rancour and difficulty around here lately. That's an idealized vision of Tibet you are seeing: a green and safe place where mothers and daughters are happy, free and together in a nourishing place of beauty. Rather than put trouble and victimhood forward this mural's creator shares a constructive, happy image. Empathy and strength flows from this image.
